After Jesus’ first two appearances to the disciples, they decide to venture outside the locked doors of their hiding place. Peter says to his friends, “I am going fishing.” To which they respond, “We will go with you.” Through this venture together, they meet the Risen Christ on the beach. He provides for them and feed them, nourishing them for their continued ministry.
