But We Had HOPED – Gospel Reading and Sermon

In the midst of this pandemic, what is something you had hoped would go differently? Something you didn’t bet to experience? An outcome that was the opposite of your desired choice? In Luke 24, later in the day on the first Easter, Jesus shows up alongside disciples on the road to Emmaus with dashed hopes. Pastor Drew reminds us that Christ comes alongside us in the midst of our hopelessness with peace, love, life, and new hope.
