Again & Again, God Meets Us – Sermon, First Sunday in Lent 2.21.21

Right here, right now, in the midst of all of this – among power outages and pandemics, God meets us and names us, claims us, calls us beloved. Then works in us a transformation of heart and mind as we are opened up to a new way of seeing, knowing, and being – part of God’s kingdom of wholeness, abundant love, and life everlasting. How are you doing? Do you have electricity, water, and food? Can we be of help in any way? This is a difficult time around Texas, but even now, even here God meets us and is with us, and we’re here for you. Thank you for the many, many ways you have been at work serving your neighbor.
