Pastor Drew offers a sermon for Easter using Matthew’s Resurrection morning account (Matthew 28:1-10)
There is nothing that can hold Jesus bound – no system of oppression, no rulers or authorities, no virus, no brokenness, no, not even death can keep Christ at bay. Jesus is risen this Easter and is bringing us and the whole world into new life. What does that look like? It looks like proclaiming the good news and hope that “Christ is risen! Alleluia!” even as we support God’s work of life-giving love by staying home, or working our essential jobs, or simply holding onto hope and living from a place of faith and love rather than fear.
