Somehow, without any money or possessions or extra food or clothes, without any weapons or defenses, the disciples Jesus sends triumph over the forces of evil that defy God. What might we find if we laid down our weapons, gave away our money, depended on the hospitality of others, and shared peace and the good news that God’s way of abundant love and life everlasting is at hand?
