Christ shows up and reveals and reminds us who and whose we are, just as the risen Christ has been doing for thousands of years. This encounter with Christ transforms the way we see and understand God, ourselves, and the whole world – through eyes of love eternal and incarnate. We are stopped in our tracks by God, who then sends us forward into the future with focus on sharing God’s good news and mission of forgiveness, love, reconciliation, and new life.
May you encounter the grace of God and light of Christ that stop you in your tracks
The Holy Spirit who fills you with new life continue to open you up to be changed and transformed by God’s Word and to love the ones you once saw as “other” and “enemy”
In the times when depression tells you that you are unworthy and shame tries to take hold – may you hear the voice of Christ and feel the presence of God surrounding you with love, reminding you who and whose you are.
God meets us on the lakeshore in whatever state we are, feeds us, sits with us, sends us.
May God fill you with such abundant life and grace that you cannot help but feed everyone you encounter with the grace and love of God.
The light and love of Christ shines upon you, in you, through you.
Amen.
