Pastor Drew’s sermon from Sunday is online now. As we delve deeper into some of the major stories of scripture this summer, we begin with a closer look at Moses. As he comes to the end of his final sermon and message to God’s people, on the precipice of entering into the Promised Land, Moses knows he will not finish the journey with the people, and leading by example, he shows and tells the people again that God’s blessings and promiises are for them, but not for them alone. God’s promises and blessings are for all, including all those yet to come, the future generations.
How can we lift up our focus – which is so often turned inward – in order to remember God’s grace and love are for us, but also for those still to come?
That is part of our work as we discern God’s call and articulate our strategic plan and vision for the years ahead at Spirit in the Hills.
